Program Overview
Prepare for a career in healthcare with our comprehensive training programs. From Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to Patient Care Technician (PCT), EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, and Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR / First Aid, our courses provide hands-on training in essential clinical and patient care skills. Upon completion of class you will be eligible to take State/National certification exams.
CNA
4 Weeks
Prepare for entry-level healthcare roles, focusing on patient care and basic medical procedures. Gain hands-on experience in patient care, hygiene, vital signs monitoring, and effective communication in healthcare settings.
CCMA
12 Weeks
Learn clinical and administrative skills essential for assisting physicians in medical offices or clinics. Develop skills in patient intake, vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, and medical office procedures for efficient clinical support.
PCT
12 Weeks
Acquire skills to assist with patient care, including vital signs, mobility support, and basic medical procedures. Hands-on training in patient hygiene, mobility assistance, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing procedures in diverse healthcare settings.
Medication Aide
1 Week
Prepare to administer medications safely under healthcare supervision, ensuring patient well-being and compliance with healthcare protocols. Learn medication administration procedures, dosage calculations, patient monitoring, and documentation for responsible and effective healthcare support.
EKG
4 Weeks
Specialize in performing and interpreting EKG tests to monitor heart health. Learn EKG techniques, heart rhythm analysis, equipment operation, and patient interaction for accurate cardiac testing.
Phlebotomy
8 Weeks
Master the skill of drawing blood for medical tests and donations. Gain proficiency in venipuncture, specimen handling, infection control, and patient comfort for effective blood collection in clinical settings.
BLS/CPR
1 Day
Essential training in life-saving techniques for emergencies, including CPR and proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Learn CPR, AED operation, and emergency response protocols to provide immediate assistance in critical situations.
First Aid
1 Day
Training in basic medical care for injuries, sudden illness, and emergencies. Gain skills in assessing injuries, applying first aid techniques, and managing medical emergencies effectively in various settings.
